First Week of Japanese Boot camp

City hall kids play area. I love this town, so kids friendly. Of course free for 10-4 4 days a week

Jo`s first Japanese friend, Shouji kun. The teacher told me that they are good friends.
According to my dad, Jo asked my dad "kore nani?" (what is this) when they were playing cards. It is working!

We get to play in the playground after school for a hour. He loves it.

Most of family has 1 or 2 kids in Japan. I have not seen a mother who has 2 other kids to come pick a kid up at the preschool like me. Everyone asked me "wow, you have 3?" yes I do. and they are all under 3.

Fumi:s boy, Hiro kun was too scared of my boys....

A mom from preschool let us borrow swimming suits.... but too small. Scottie really loved this one, so he was not happy about that.

My morning starts at 6am!!

We found a grasshopper. We let him ago next day. As soon as we opened the lid, it flew away. Jo and Scottie didn:t know grasshoppers can fly.  I captured the perfect moment

Recycle can....

very kids friendly mall. Free fun strollers for kids. But none of them are for 2 kids. I have 3....

Making Halloween decoration for home. Jo does not like that fact this house does not have the front yard.

Jo said, "Is this a race car track?"  LOL

They loved rolling down this hill. They ran up and down at least 10 times.

Mom, I found Kaeru (frog)

Jiji (97 yr ) and Paxson (2mo)

First Day of School

We are staying in the condo where my family used to live when I was until 5 yrs. Jordan is going to the same kindargarden where I used to go. Same school, same uniform, same, building, everthing is still the same even thought it was almost 30 yrs ago...

I love the fact that we can walk everywhere in Japan. To go to a grocery store, school, etc
The principal is very nice to us. She walked us in.
Here is his teacher. Mrs. Kana
Jordan was in the center of attention. He is in Momo gumi (Plum class, so everything is pink)
They all stretch with music in the morning. The condo behind this school is where we are staying. 4th floor. We can see his school from our valcony. Love it.
Where is jo? He is next to the teacher. He was doing what everyone else were doing.
She was introducing him to the class.
 I remember this place.
 Of course... It is Jo.
Scottie is also going to school. His first day. Refused to wear the yellow hat. Smaller day care.

This is where they had snack, except, he refused to eat during snack time. Then after everyone left, he insisted he was hungry so he ate. yap, it is Scottie.

Jo really loved the school. He told me all about it. I was there the whole time for Scottie. He warmed up a little. He told me later he liked the school. Jo goes everyday for all day except Wed half day. Scottie goes 2-3 times a week. I hope they will pick up Japanese. I will report.

Catching up with blogging

My Japanese preschool
We took Mrs. Bonnie's swim lesson for 5 days. Even thought boys hated the lessons for first 2 days, they learned so much!  Now Jordan loves to jump in the pool and swim to the wall all by himself.

This is Scottie's 3rd day. He was refusing to get in the pool as you can tell. But after his 5th day, he always talks about his Mrs. "Brownie" swim lesson.
so the lesson is all about, when you fall, you have to swim to the wall by yourself. Here is the 4th day. Mrs. Bonnie will throw him in the pool. Scottie has to turn around and swim to the closest wall.
Sometimes, it was very hard to watch him struggle, but he is doing so much better.

They all get popsocles at the end. Make everything a little better.
