Wow. It was quite an experience. I took Castor Oil at 2:30pm, my contraction started 3pm. It got stronger and came every 2-3 min within 2 hrs. So I decided to go to hospital (45 min away). We got to the hospital at 6:45pm. They said they can see he has lots of black hair at the triage when I checked in!! I was already dialeted to 8~9 cm. I asked when I can get epiduarl, nurses smiled. So I asked again, they said I have to have lab results first. I asked how long does it take to get lab results, and they said "oh, sweetie, you don't want to know." and smiled again. Nurses told me not to push until Dr got there. I had to wait for 15 min. When Dr got there, I only had to push twice, and Scottie came out. Anyway, whether I like it or not, I had this 7 lb 2oz without epiduarl. I didn't know I could scream that much. I will never do it again, but I am glad it is over and he is doing great.

Yay, COngrats! He is so cute, and way to go Mako. I am sure it was a crazy experience with out the epidural. And you are also brave for trying the castor oil. :)
Congratulations! He is very cute and so much hair! Tell Dallen I love the pic of him watching basketball while in delivery! Classic... hope we get to see you all soon and meet your adorable boys.
Congratulations guys. I can't believe, though, that Dallen wasn't joking when he told me that he was going to name the baby Scottie. I just might have to call him as Sam or Big Smooth (as in Perkins), who was actually a much better teammate to Jordan than Scottie ever was, not to mention that he played for the best team that Jordan's Bulls ever beat in the finals. Just kidding. Really, truly, congratulations on the new addition.
Wow! That's like my worst nightmare!! He's cute though!
The next boy will probly be Dennis... Or Luke...Steve....haha....Congrats on the new addition to ur family!!
Oh, Congratulations you guys! He's adorable and I am so glad it went quickly, but bummer about the drugs. Can't wait to see him in person, I bet he'll be just as cute and fun as Jordan!
He is beautiful and perfect you guys! Congrats! I also love the picture of Dallen watching basketball -- such a Gardner thing to do!! LOL!
He is so sweet! I'm so happy to see another baby Gardner - they are soo cute!!
OH Mako CONGRATS!!!!!! You are quite a women for doing that without the epidural. The hospital here is far away and I hope I don't get to go through the same thing. IT's funny that you have a picture of Dall watching basketball. When I had brigg Brad did the same thing, good old March Maddness huh. So much for just having there CHILD!!!! Love you guys and hope that baby lets you have some rest.
Hey Mako! It's Katherine's (Bucky) little sister here...remember me?...or remember our trip to Phoenix to see U2? Ha that was fun! Anyway, congratulations on the new baby! Actually, I just found your blog from my cousin Dusty's blog (weird I never noticed it on my own sister's blog?) so congratulations on the addition of both boys! Your kids are SOOOOOO cute!
